Game/Midi Port

Game/MIDI port
MIDI stands for Musical Instruments Digital Interface. The MIDI protocol lets PCs and electronic musical instruments (like digital keyboards and sequencers) share performance data with each other. Today, another very popular use for this port type is as a joystick interface for many PC games. (Also called game ports.)
Musical instruments use a different type of jack for MIDI connections. To connect a MIDI-capable instrument and PC, you'll need a special adapter cable.
